UC Santa Cruz Porter A and B Seismic Retrofit and Addition + Dining Remodel
The $110 million project includes seismic retrofit the existing building and a floor addition to increase bed count from 562 to 873. The scope also includes a separate $5.8 million food service upgrade and central utility plant upgrade at Porter C. MEP work includes air handling unit replacement, new plumbing systems, new electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other low voltage systems. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification.
